Take a close look at your life, and all around you you'll see the results of modern technology. Can you remember what you did with yourself before you had Internet browsing and cable TV? Those people would be amazed at having a fresh, hot cup of coffee in less than a minute like we can do today. You can now buy one-cup brewers made by such companies as Keurig, Black and Decker, and Melitta. The Keurig brewers use inserts called k-cups which cannot be used in any other brands. It doesn't matter if you use coffee pods or k-cups, though, because you're going to find numerous varieties and roasts of each one. You can even buy pods and k-cups to make hot chocolate, tea, and espresso. Companies like Millstone, Green Mountain, Godiva, Wolfgang Puck, Kona, and Van Houtte supply the coffees and chocolates for a multitude of different k-cups and pods.
Of course, anything that's new and convenient like these single-cup coffee makers is going to cost a little more, but people who have been using them will agree that they're worth the extra you pay. To buy a 1-cup personal brewer you're going to pay around 0. For a larger model that has more features, it will run all the way up to 0. The coffee pods and k-cups themselves are also a bit more expensive than regular ground coffee, but once again you're paying for the convenience of having your coffee in pre-measured packets. Sealed like they are, k-cups and coffee pods offer fresher coffee than most traditional brands.
